What a potential-use detection means

A potential-use detection means LicenseTrack has saved a possible match between one of your monitored works and content on a platform. It is a signal for you to review the record and its source details.

Review a saved detection

  1. Sign in to your LicenseTrack account.
  2. Open Dashboard → Detections.
  3. Choose a detection to open its evidence detail.

The detail page shows the saved information for that result. Depending on what was recorded, this can include the platform and source URL, the matched work, the match confidence, when it was detected, and its licence state. Evidence details such as proof status, a fingerprint hash, or match measurements appear when available; some records may not have every detail.
